Listened to tracks from their “Winter Hours” CD. Was attracted by the title “All The Money I Had is Gone” and it is probably the standout track as well. “River in the Pines” from an earlier album also worth a listen.
They are Canadian and in the Alt.Country genre, so hard not to make some comparisons to the Cowboy Junkies.
At its best, they have a nice wistful sound. It isn’t always amazingly original.
